On the other hand in addition to being able to do this from every paid photo manager I've ever seen, you can also do it from freeware Faststone Image viewer and from IrfanView.
If you want to use exiftool for this, download exiftoolGUI.
It has one of the most complex command processors I've seen, nice only if you have some horrendously complex thing to do and oodles of time to learn how. Exiftool command line version is not worth its steep learning curve for simple things like this.
